A t the start of May, let’s celebrate the Celtic fire ceremony of Beltane: a great time to fertilize & share ideas we’ve been nurturing for months. Symbolically, May Day is when Mother Earth’s creative dragon energy is enticed to rise up & become fertilized by the sun. On this day, bonfires & beacons should be lit & dances performed, perhaps around a maypole, to symbolize this sacred marriage. It is by offering songs & dances to reflect the land in which we live, that Nature will, in turn, rise up to honor our needs.
