Christine’s Intuitive Journey: Mystic Mag Interview-Miguel Amado

Christine’s Intuitive Journey: Mystic Mag Interview-Miguel Amado

Aligning traditional medicine and alternative methods (or complementary) is something that more and more people are interested in and Dr. Christine Page is proof that the combination is possible. A doctor since the 70’s in the United Kingdom, Dr. Page didn’t close the door on the intuitive aspect and we can get in touch with that interesting perspective in her books, courses and online presence. Here’s our interview we did with her this week.

When did you discover that you are intuitive? In truth, I’ve never known a time when I wasn’t intuitive, although like any child, I didn’t know that everybody wasn’t seeing and reading energy around people. I fortunately ‘chose’ to be raised in a family where being psychic wasn’t seen as strange or unnerving; my mother came from a long lineage of wise and intuitively ‘fey’ women.

During my childhood, I was surrounded by healers, mediums, homeopaths and metaphysical teachers. I thought it was normal to listen to the channeled insights of a 4000-year-old Egyptian. My parents’ motto was clear: Respect everyone’s opinion, but only absorb information that resonates with your own heart and mind. I’ve always trusted this inner knowing and it’s never let me down.

But the greatest gift of my innate intuition, is that I’ve never felt disconnected from the spirit world, whether this is from departed loved ones, spirit guides, my star family or elementals here on Earth. Because of this eternal connection, I’ve always feel unconditionally loved. A rare treat.

Was being an intuitive ever an issue as you pursued a medical career? There are challenges to being intuitively sensitive as a child. Since I could see, not only the person standing in front of me but also many of their subpersonalities, I was confused & escaped by hiding, commonly described by my parents as an extremely shy child.

In my teens, my sensitivity extended to the suffering of others. Now, I took another way out: I learned to faint when the feelings were too much. You may therefore say it was a strange decision to decide to become a MD where suffering abounds!

But this was one of those essential soul decisions based on my deep compassion for humanity and a desire to enable wholeness and health in everyone I meet. Of course, in medical school I very quickly learned that fainting was not an option and developed healthy emotional boundaries.

Can you tell us how your intuitive awareness helped you in your career? I think every doctor and nurse will tell you about times when their intuitive ‘hunch’ saved a life.

I remember seeing a patient in ER who was complaining of stomach pain. All the tests had come back negative & I was being urged to send the patient home. But I knew we were missing something and decided to keep him in the hospital overnight. Just as dawn broke, he had a massive heart attack and was easily resuscitated because of my intuitive hunch.

I also recall meeting a young boy whose symptoms seemed strange and could have been dismissed. But I persevered and eventually found that his mother was chronically abusing him.
Such hunches are based on experience, information and a trust in our sixth sense.

How did you integrate traditional with complementary medicine? Britain is very unique in its acknowledgement of alternative medicine due to an ancient law. This means complementary therapies have been accepted by orthodoxy for decades. Patients have free access to healing, homeopathy, acupuncture and many other healing methods.

With my childhood background, it was natural that I would create one of the first integrative health centers within Britain’s NHS (National Health Service) in the mid-1980s.
Along with three other partners, our 9000 NHS patients had ready access to aromatherapy, relaxation, psychotherapy, homeopathy, Tai Chi and lectures on many interesting metaphysical subjects.

Our only consideration was: what is the best treatment for the patient? Financial incentives were not involved.

What made you move away from full-time practice into teaching? In 1990, I published my first book Frontiers of Health linking different diseases to different chakras emphasizing the understanding that illness is a message from the soul. During this time, I was deeply involved with holistic medicine where health is considered to be a synthesis of the wellbeing of the body, mind and spirit.

After running a very successful, integrative practice in London, I realized that patients were becoming too reliant on someone else’s expertise, unaware of their own innate healing gifts.

Therefore, I wound down my practice and began teaching seminars internationally on subjects such as Enhancing your Intuition, listening to the Wisdom of the Body and the Courage to Change, all of which encourage self-healing, self-accountability and trusting our inner knowing.

You started your career in the United Kingdom and later moved to the US. Do you believe people in one place, or the other are more open to your kind of treatment and medicine view? In 2001, I crossed the pond and made a new home in the US. I was fortunate to be contracted to teach intuition to hundreds of health care professionals through a three-level training with NICABM, called Navigating the Soul’s Journey.

What I quickly learned is that although alternative therapies are far less integrated within the US orthodox medical system, Americans are more likely to enter therapy to understand themselves.

This means that participants at my seminars or those who request an astrological soul reading are more likely to take and run with what I’ve shared. I’m privileged to have seen amazing personal transformations in my work.

Please share a message for our readers in these challenging times. We’re in the middle of a profound time of transformation that is said never to have been attempted on this planet before: the ascension or shift in consciousness of all humanity. The most difficult years are predicted to be between 2020 and 2026 when so many souls are awakening to their true divine nature..

As I’ve seen so often in my work, it often takes a crisis, such as an illness or death of a loved one to wake us up. In this case it took a pandemic to cause people to realize that the people they trusted in the past, may not have all the answers. It’s time to listen within, trusting our hearts & understanding that this beautiful body is strong and capable of great change.

Finally, ‘We are not alone.’ Even though, because of freewill on this planet, the spirit world cannot interfere with our choices, if we ask for help, they can open doors and are wonderful cheerleaders when we have the courage to take steps to fulfill our amazing destiny.

A Complete Guide to Empowering Women: the Sacred Woman Book

A Complete Guide to Empowering Women: the Sacred Woman Book

A Native American saying: “A thousand years of peace will come when women heal their hearts.”

Although many women around the world are now receiving relatively equal opportunities to that of men, it’s still important to remember that when we empower one another we create a new standard for women everywhere. Tools like the ‘Healing Power of the Sacred Woman book’ helps to educate us on what it means to empower ourselves,  and each other. It also helps us realize our purpose, and how to use that purpose to create a better world for the next seven generations; the focus of all women around the world. Keep reading to learn more about what this means.

What Is Women’s Empowerment?

This phrase, also referred to as female empowerment, has blossomed to represent multiple social and ethical movements like the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements. This key word represents ways in which women across the globe can contribute to their communities in spiritual, social, financial, and practical ways tapping into their innate wisdom.

Focusing on key issues within a community can create a platform for women to speak out and make a positive difference. Here are some societal issues that improve when women work together to bring empowerment to themselves, their families and communities.

Education

One of the key issues facing women’s empowerment is education. You may see that in different parts of the globe, the opportunity to be educated & the type of education received for men and women differ drastically.

Although more than two-thirds of countries have reached gender parity in education, some countries have regressed in parity. These include countries in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. It’s here where we see girls more likely to be disadvantaged when compared to boys. For example, in Pakistan, 84 girls are enrolled in primary school for every 100 boys. Several reasons exist for this. Of course, sexism is still evident in many countries, with many religions and social groups still supporting the idea that a woman’s opinion is inferior to that of a man. Still, without equal opportunities in education, then brilliant, female voices will not be heard, depriving the world of opportunities for transformation. Subjects and programs commonly lacking women in their respected fields are science, law, politics, writing, and philosophy.

A great resource is the Healing Power of the Sacred Woman book. It educates women on how to experience themselves on all levels. This tool helps define what it means to empower women focusing on body awareness, innate wisdom, spiritual leadership & self respect all of which lead to a healthier and more prosperous society.

Crime

Around the world, a whole range of abuses are taking place: domestic rape,  rape as a weapon in times of war, the trafficking of young people as sex slaves, female genital mutilation, dowry and honor killings, and sexual harassment of all kinds.  Nothing will change unless abuse & trafficking are addressed head on.

Crime rates threaten the safety of predominantly younger girls, which then keeps them from wanting to pursue an education. Helping girls and women to feel safe in their neighborhood or school’s campus, helps them to focus on their education.

Poverty

Another issue that impacts female education is poverty. In poorer communities, women are expected to stay home and take care of the family because their financial limitations keep them from sending them off to earn higher degrees.

Health

One of the most powerful times of a woman’s month is during her period or moon time. Yet, even in the most educated societies, women are still shunned, degraded or considered unclean during this time. Girls also face the problem of limited or overly-priced supplies of feminine products often meaning that young women miss a week of schooling each month due to poor education & old fashioned ideas.

Social Issues

Patriarchal viewpoints, commonly lead to discrimination, with laws that are biased against women. However, this is not always the fault of the men. In the past two thousand years, women went from sharing and caring for each other in communities to being part of a harem where they are threatened by the success, beauty or richness of another woman, because this means she and her children will not survive.

Until women stop cheating on, gossiping about and competing with other women, the glass ceiling will never be cracked.

Improving Feminine Health Overall

A woman’s empowerment starts with loving, respecting and honoring her body and its wisdom. Everyday, women are bombarded with media images that tell them about the faults of their body whether this is how they look or what they feel, causing so many women to abandon their feminine gifts and become ‘mini men.’

Periods, pregnancy & childbirth are natural processes that align to a women’s own innate rhythm linked to the moon. But medicine has caused all these processes to be clinically controlled processes robbing the woman of her own innate understanding.

The more pregnancy, childbirth and the caring for the newborn are planned to fit in with a schedule, the more likely it is that a woman experiences physical & mental problems including postpartum depression.

Clinical care is invaluable when problems are predicted or in an emergency but it is women who have not forgotten their natural wisdom, who are the best people to guide other women especially during pregnancy and childbirth.

At present women do not feel they have a choice as to whether to become pregnant or not despite the pill and other forms of birth control. Sexual freedom is a much different subject than whether a woman gives birth or not. Up to a fifth of women around the world are choosing not to give birth while increasing numbers are suffering from infertility. Unfortunately, despite education, pregnancy can still be linked to a desire for love, financial gain or the inability to relate to the baby as another living, breathing human being.

Until we address this, offering an abortion is still an option, but hopefully limited to the first trimester with the decision made between both parents & their health professional.

Financial Security

While many variables can affect the financial health of women, the most commonly addressed are access to income and assets, control of economic gains, and the power to make decisions. Poverty is often a main factor that influences crimes and drug rates. Many women become involved in abusive relationships in the search for apparent financial security that may just mean putting food on the table for their children.

At the end of the day, equal access is key. If women have just as much access to credit cards, bank accounts and assets as men, then the economy as a whole will be more rounded and stable.

Eliminating Abuse

As mentioned above, during their life many women – as high as 1 in 3 – have been subject to some kind of abuse, some of which is violent. Rape, incest and domestic abuse are often hidden because of fear of retribution.

Emotional abuse is a type of domestic violence that often flies under the radar, but should always be taken seriously as a form of abuse. When emotional abuse is present in a relationship, a partner will criticize, threaten or isolate their partner as a way to manipulate them. They may take away transportation, socialization and money to cause the woman to be dependent on them.

Unfortunately, too often the legal system sides with the abuser, blaming a woman for her faults. Increasingly women’s groups are stepping up to support their ‘sisters’ while there are many other resources now available such as the Healing Power of the Sacred Woman book that advocate self empowerment.

Learning How to Empower Women With the Sacred Women Book

Even though it’s tempting to try and change the world overnight, the greatest gift we can bring to the empowerment of women is to heal our own wounds first. Where are we allowing ourselves to be disrespected, abused or undervalued? Where are we allowing the bitchiness between women to continue? Where are we cheating on other women to receive from a man? Where are we closing our eyes to abuse in our own home or family?

Even though there are many ways to get involved to empower women, start with ourselves. Through therapy, seminars or personal introspection, heal the wounds of your ancestors, face the wounds of your childhood, return to your natural lunar rhythms and meet with other like minded women who respect and honor each other.

A thousand years of peace will come when women heal themselves, creating a world worthy of the next seven generations.

The Top 10 Benefits of Women Empowerment

The Top 10 Benefits of Women Empowerment

Women empowerment—sometimes referred to as women’s empowerment or female empowerment—has become a buzzword in the wake of movements such as #TimesUp and #MeToo. What are the benefits of women’s empowerment, though?

We’ve assembled the top ten benefits of women empowerment to highlight how women across the globe contribute to their communities—practically, financially, socially and more. Let’s get started!

1. Changing the World

One of the key issues facing women’s empowerment is education. Championed by powerhouses such as Malala Yousafzai, there’s a deep divide between male and female education in different parts of the world.

There are many reasons for this. For starters, some countries don’t believe female education is important. This may be due to restrictive opinions, sexism, or the fact that women working may not be accepted in some cultures.

However, if everyone doesn’t receive equal access to education, then the world is missing out on the talents of countless women across the globe. Brilliant female scientists, lawyers, politicians, writers, and philosophers have altered human history.

If they never received an education, we might never have known their names. That’s why women empowerment focuses on accessible education for all. When everyone has a chance for a good education, we have a better chance at tackling major issues like climate change, cancer research, and other global problems together.

Women’s empowerment doesn’t just focus on legislation that protects female education. Instead, it tackles other issues that prevent women’s education.

For instance, crime rates prevent families from sending their daughters on the long walk to school, since many homes aren’t central to education centers. In areas that are ridden with crime or affected by constant violence, school is a safety hazard.

Combating Poverty

Poverty is another issue that impacts female education. If a family can barely stay afloat, being able to learn algebra is a luxury. Instead, every family member is needed so that everyone can eat and have shelter.

Other issues include period supplies. Some regions don’t have access to period products, which means that girls are kept out of school for at least a week out of every month because they have no other good options.

Tackling all of these issues through the lens of women empowerment doesn’t just make sure that girls are able to go to school. Instead, it ensures that societies are transformed from the ground up.

Almost every social justice issue can be tied to women’s empowerment. This can make it seem like a daunting task, but it’s all worth it in the end.

2. Improved Social Structures

Lots of studies have been done on social support, structures, and emotional support groups that naturally form in the face of friendships, casual attachments, and life-long bonds.

In these situations, men are often lacking in strong social circles. In these cases, men often rely on one person—often a wife or girlfriend—to fulfill all of their emotional needs and provide support for all emotional issues.

By contrast, women often have multi-layered social groups that provide different layers of support. That’s why women often spearhead agents of social change, such as protests, support groups, charitable organizations, and so much more.

These groups form a catalyst for internal change. Every person involved in these organizations or protests develops a social support system. This positively impacts the individual, the family, and their own community.

3. Improved Health

Women empowerment brings a tangible benefit to communities—improved physical health. This is especially true when it comes to issues like periods, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum/infancy care.

To date, pregnancy is one of the most dangerous conditions a human body can be in. No matter how ‘natural’ it may seem and how well-equipped your body is for it, it’s still one of the most taxing things you can endure.

Whether it’s a lack of resources, the stigma around female health, poor or nonexistent health insurance, or a lack of medical professionals, female health is one of the most pressing issues of our time.

When women empowerment movements leverage their influence to improve access to period products or birth control, everyone benefits. This allows families to plan their next pregnancy and gives women the chance to be properly cared for.

This also allows mothers to be cared for in the aftermath of pregnancy, too. In places with a lack of resources, education, or accessibility, issues like postpartum depression are sometimes swept under the rug.

4. Improved Mental Health

As mentioned above, issues like postpartum depression or other female issues are sometimes ignored. But mental health is one of the biggest crises of our time and affects entire communities.

Female empowerment organizations often focus on accessible mental health resources, which often means access to therapists, psychiatrists, pharmacies, and other facilities or individuals that help improve mental health.

Why is this a benefit of women’s empowerment? When women–and everyone around them–are able to properly care for their mental health, everyone benefits.

Crime rates drop, instances of domestic violence are reduced, and there are fewer incidents of child abuse and neglect. There are also fewer issues of crimes that are often tied to mental health episodes, drug overdoses, and so forth.

5. Improved Financial Health

In some regions and countries, entrepreneurship is everything. It can mean the difference between a neighborhood flourishing or folding in on itself and collapsing.

Across the world, women everywhere have proved themselves to be resilient and brilliant when it comes to making business decisions. For instance, when women make financial investments such as stock, they tend to have a more successful track record over a twelve-month period than men do.

Improved financial health is also about equal access. How can an economy flourish if only half its citizens have access to banking, credit cards, stock options, savings accounts, and so forth?

Finances also impact communities on a personal level. Poverty is a driver for many diseases, crimes, and other issues that occur daily in many places. When women are empowered to take charge of their own money, their communities benefit.

Wealth has a trickle-down effect when women are in charge. Many women will prefer to spend their money on community investments, such as taking care of their children, rather than on material possessions.

6. Reducing Violence

Violence is an issue across the world. While wars and international conflicts are big issues that impact women globally, it starts closer to home.

Gender-based violence—whether sexual or physical—often occurs from a close partner. This could be a boyfriend, a husband, or a co-parenting situation. No matter what the situation, many women experience regular violence.

This could be emotional or verbal abuse, financial abuse, or physical abuse. When women are denied the mobility that financial independence, employment, or education offer them, women are often trapped in abusive situations with violent partners.

When women’s empowerment provides women with the stepping stones necessary to escape these situations, life improves for everyone. Women are able to heal and recover from abuse, and their children are saved from a terrible situation that they would otherwise be trapped in.

However, female empowerment also positively impacts the justice system. No matter where you live in the world, rape cases are not often reported or prosecuted. Domestic violence cases are often not treated as a serious issue.

When legislation is put in place to protect women, and police reform is enacted, women can obtain justice and have greater lives.

7. Reproductive Justice

Reproductive justice is a major issue in every nation today. Whether it involves family planning, birth control methods, or other choices that women need to be able to make for themselves, one of the main spearheads of female empowerment is making sure that women can make these choices for themselves.

Why does this matter? Reproductive justice is about putting life-changing decisions in the hands of the people who will be most affected by them. Unplanned pregnancies can plunge families further into poverty, which causes a vicious cycle of poor health, food insecurity, and much more.

Unplanned pregnancies can also be fatal for women who aren’t in physical condition to carry them to full term. Not everyone can, should, or wants to have children. Being pregnant is one of the most dangerous conditions a woman can be in.

If a woman has physical conditions, poor health insurance, or limited access to healthcare professionals, unplanned pregnancies can be disastrous. Unplanned pregnancies can also trap women into vicious cycles of domestic abuse with partners they never planned to stay with.

Not having any sexual agency or control over planning pregnancies is incredibly stressful for women. Having a pregnancy that wasn’t planned can take an incredible toll on a woman’s mental health, particularly if she didn’t want to have children—or add to the number of children she already has.

8. Keeping Women and Girls Safe

Protecting women and girls from violence can mean ethical legislation, de-escalating international conflicts, reducing domestic violence, and so forth. Being able to empower women through education, family planning, financial literacy, and employment can be life-changing.

But depending on where someone lives, they could be subject to child marriage or female genital mutilation. Millions upon millions of women and girls have been subjected to both of these practices.

Stopping these practices is a huge issue for many proponents of women empowerment. However, many mentally focus women empowerment activities in other countries.

This is highly inaccurate, given that child marriage is still legal in many parts of the United States. Being able to eradicate this practice worldwide gives girls a chance to pursue their dreams, choose their partners, and stay safe throughout their childhood.

9. Achieving Political Equality

Representation matters in every government. There’s a good reason that women empowerment activities often include protests. To achieve a more equitable world, it’s crucial that every voice is heard.

To do this, women need to hold positions in the highest seats of government. If some aren’t represented, legislation will likely hurt them because their view isn’t represented.

There’s a popular study that indicates how we often perceive women in the media. For instance, if you’re in a room full of people and it is half men and half women, your view will be distorted.

If asked about it later, you may remember the event as overwhelmingly female. The split was exactly fifty-fifty—but it didn’t come across that way. This view is partially perpetuated by the media.

For instance, many popular action movies have one token female character. It’s enough to indicate a token nod at representation, but it’s not enough.

The same is true in government. Many people assume that we’ve achieved full political equality. After all, didn’t a woman (almost) achieve the presidency in the United States?

Politics are still overwhelmingly male, which provides an imbalanced view from positions of power. Women empowerment involves supporting female candidates, campaigning, encouraging people to vote, and helping promote quality female candidates during their run.

10. Building Awareness

Whether it’s holding difficult conversations or hosting an event for Woman Empowerment Day, building awareness through education is crucial. For instance, how many people refuse to call themselves a feminist because ‘they don’t hate men?’

This type of miseducation often hampers people from working toward women’s empowerment and often slows progress that could otherwise be made. Progress is often incremental and changing people’s minds and hearts is a long journey.

Changing hearts and then prompting them toward concrete actions is even more difficult. However, when it comes to achieving a more equitable future for everyone, it’s definitely worth it.

Achieving Women Empowerment

In today’s day and age, being a woman can feel exhausting. From safety concerns to unequal pay to dangerous legislation, there is so much that requires our strength daily.

If you’re looking to reclaim your own female strength and empower other women as leaders, consider a soul reading. Understanding female mysteries is crucial to empowering yourself and others—check it out today! We’d be happy to speak with you.

What Is a Soul Reading and What to Expect

What Is a Soul Reading and What to Expect

Every year thousands of people enter their spiritual journey without a defined purpose. They place their faith in the journey, but struggle with feeling adrift in the universe. The lack of direction often becomes a hindrance to their path toward spiritual development.

So, at what point on your spiritual journey should you seek purpose?

The answer is the moment you are ready. Whether you have just begun your spiritual journey or have been on your path for a while, you can find your soul’s purpose.

On your own, the search for purpose seems daunting, even impossible. But, you are not alone. Connecting with a spiritual healer for a soul reading could be what you need to kickstart your spiritual awakening.

Read on to find out more about soul readings and if they are right for you.

What Is Soul Reading?

Your soul emits an energy that is invisible to the naked eye, called an aura. During a soul reading, the reader sees your aura using their third eye chakra. In doing so, they open up a wealth of knowledge.

As they read your soul’s aura, a soul reader uncovers the blueprint of your soul.

Soul Reading VS Standard Reading

A standard psychic reading focuses on answering specific questions. You sit down with a medium and they use their preferred methods of divination to answer your questions.

These readings are valuable to your immediate, shallower inquiries.

They answer questions like, “Will I get that promotion?” or “Is he going to propose?” While those are important questions to pursue, they don’t dig deep.

On the other hand, a soul reading looks at your very core. It digs deep and uncovers truths about your soul from its creation to the end of time.

Enlightenment through soul readings will inform and enrich you as you continue on your spiritual journey.

A comprehensive soul reading like the one we offer will cover a variety of topics. It will teach you how to capitalize on your strengths, recognize obstacles in your path, and guide you toward fulfilling your spiritual destiny.

And, of course, it will show you the true purpose of your soul.

Tapping into the Akashic Records

The Akashic Records are how soul readers tap into your aura and read your soul’s past, present, and future.

On a dimension higher than ours is one called Akasha. Like quantum theory tells us, infinite parallel universes exist for every decision made. Akasha keeps track of all the events happening in all the universes.

From your mother’s eyelash to your very soul, anything that has existed or will exist holds a record in Akasha. Connecting to the Akashic records, a soul reader can learn about your soul’s past and future.

By interpreting the Akashic Records of your soul, a reader learns about your past life and its traumas. They will tell you if you are carrying those traumas with you in this life. Most importantly, they show you how to heal from it.

The Akashic Records also show your soul reader what is in store for your soul’s future. This act of prophecy is how a soul reading helps you discover your purpose.

Some people may hesitate for fear of a bad outlook on their future. While the Akashic Records hold information about your future, you must never forget that you create your own path.

The soul reading will only reveal what will happen if you stay on the path you are on. The decisions you make after can divert that path, pushing you toward a better future.

Things that create obstacles toward your positive outcome are blockages. They can be things, energies, or even people. Changing your outcome means you must overcome your blockages.

Your soul reader will act as a conduit from the Akashic Records to you, identifying your blockages and showing you how to overcome them.

What Is the Role of a Soul Reader?

Everyone has some level of psychic ability. Therefore, anyone can access the Akashic Records. Which begs the question: Why do you even need a soul reader?

Well, a soul reader is more than a person with psychic ability. Soul readers have worked years to hone their abilities. They become a spiritual guide for your reading through their experience and intuition.

A practiced reader will be able to give you the best reading possible. They are quicker to access the Akashic Records and read your aura due to their heightened intuition.

They can also withstand the mental and physical toll it takes to access higher dimensions for long periods of time. Their resilience is your best friend as they access many records to give you a comprehensive reading.

Most importantly, they guide you through the entire reading. They know how to interpret the visions they receive from your aura where others may not.

Even experienced mediums sometimes only give vague prophecies in standard readings. Only soul readers have the necessary keen intuition that is fine-tuned to the Akashic Records. They will walk you through the visions and read them with the most accuracy.

So, while access to the Akashic Records is available to all, a soul reader is critical to entering the journey of self-discovery and spiritual awakening through a soul reading.

Who Should Get a Soul Reading?

You are probably wondering by now if a soul reading is right for you. We cannot pretend to know the answer to that question. Only you can be sure.

Here are some questions that can help guide you toward a decision:

  • Does my path have a purpose?
  • Do I understand what obstacles are in my path?
  • Am I taking advantage of my talents?
  • Do I have trauma from this or a past life that needs healing?
  • Do I feel connected to my ancestors or spirit guides?

If you answered “no” or “I don’t know” to any of those questions, you might want to consider a soul reading for yourself.

But, the best way to know for sure is the answer to this question, “Am I in need of a spiritual awakening?”

Yes? Then you are seeking answers that a soul reading can provide.

Expectations and Recommendations

Getting ready for your first soul reading can be unnerving. But, you have nothing to worry about. We want you to have the best experience possible.

So, follow along to learn how to prepare for your reading and what to expect before, during, and after your reading.

Before the Reading

We would like to advise against the temptation to show up for your soul reading unprepared. The soul reading is an awakening experience. But improper preparation can distract from your reading.

First, set your intentions! The answers you seek will be more clear and accurate if you focus on them before and during your reading.

Think about finding purpose, removing blockages, and healing during your pre-reading meditation. Try using these affirmations:

  • I am positive, calm, and at peace
  • I am finding my purpose and forging my destiny
  • I can heal from my past
  • I am entering a spiritual awakening that will unlock my potential
  • I can see the obstacles in my life and I am removing them

Next, clear out your energy. The energy you bring to your reading has an effect on your reader’s abilities. Negative energy can make it difficult to read your soul’s aura.

So, do your best to remain positive before you show up. If possible, try to meditate for about 10 minutes prior. Calm your emotions and let go of tension.

When you release that tension, you provide your soul reader with a clear path to your soul’s records.

Finally, the reading is more effective if the reader can review your birth chart before your appointment. Your birth chart is a map of all the planets in their relation to the sun at the moment of your birth.

When you sign up for a reading with us, you can fill out our birth information questionnaire. All the information you need should be available on your birth certificate.

After you submit your information, we will review your chart. It tells us who you are by incorporating all the astrological elements from your birth.

Therefore, your chart gives us the most comprehensive representation of who you are astrologically. It helps inform our interpretations of your soul reading.

During the Reading

Though the results of a soul reading are different than standard readings, you will find the experience is similar. You show up to your appointment, meet your reader, and have your reading.

Our soul readings last 50 minutes. This gives us ample time to explore the records we need to uncover your soul’s purpose. From interpreting your past to seeing what the future holds, we can learn a lot in that time.

Our soul readings also happen over the phone. Other readers may conduct in-person appointments, but we find telephone readings more efficient.

That is because distance helps dull potential blockages. Your emotions can be distracting to a reader. While from a distance we still sense your weariness or stress, it is less impactful to our abilities.

Once the appointment begins, we will read your soul’s aura and tap into your akashic records. This is when questions begin getting answers.

A complete soul reading begins with regression into past lives. During the regression, you may also connect with your spiritual guides or ancestors.

Then, we start to assess your current status and look toward the future. We begin to identify blockages and work on healing. Then we see your destiny based on your current path.

In this part of the soul reading, you will learn about your soul’s purpose. We will explore your destiny together and discover how you can fulfill it.

Expect the entry into the akashic records to be a spiritual journey of its own. As your reader helps open the channels of your soul, you may experience a variety of sensations and effects.

Not uncommon is the phenomenon of connected imagery. You may experience visions through the eye of your reader.

These visions are normal, and you should not become panicked. Rather, embrace them as you open your own psychic channels during your soul reading.

After the Reading

9 Signs of Spiritual Awakening You Should Know About

9 Signs of Spiritual Awakening You Should Know About

Undergoing spiritual awakening is one of the most alienating, lonely, confusing, yet extremely beautiful experiences in life. To put this simply, experiencing spiritual awakening means the start of your initiation on your spiritual path and growth.

Without spiritual awakening, most sacred women go through their lives chasing the emptiness of fame, money, respect, and power in an attempt to be happy.

However, the most underappreciated factor of spiritual awakening is that it can happen in the most unexpected timing. This means you can’t plan for it. The awakening comes into your life and shakes things up like an earthquake.

But the most beautiful thing about awakening is that it will occur when you need it the most. Once you experience spiritual awakening, your soul will be free, and you will come to terms that nothing external in this world, such as money and power, will bring you true happiness.

But how do you know you’re undergoing spiritual awakening? Below are essential signs:

1. You Feel Like You’re Coming Alive

When experiencing spiritual awakening, you may feel like you’re looking at the world for the first time through a new lens. This is the “wow” factor of going through this experience. You may also feel like you’re experiencing everything in the world for the first time.

The colors will be more vibrant, and everything that once looked and felt dead is alive and present. Even your food tastes better than it has before. You may also notice that small and simple things in the world fill you with appreciation and joy that no one can take away.

Your surroundings look spellbinding, the trees are amazing, and you have a new appreciation for sunsets and sunrises. Additionally, you will feel that your mind amplifies your appreciation of beauty, and you have this more profound connection with nature that fills your heart with a sense of wonder and awe.

This is one of the most beautiful signs of spiritual awakening; everything under the sun coming alive for the first time in a while.

2. You Lose Worldly Ambitions

Spiritual development is often accompanied by a loss of attraction to worldly achievements. You will notice that the things that were once very important to your ego, such as success, recognition, societal status, and wealth, seem shallow and unattractive. Deep down, you know that nothing external and superficial will fully satisfy you; everything you need to be happy is inside you.

You will also be more compelled to explore the depths and nadirs of your inner self to discover who you truly are. This discovery becomes more rewarding than pursuing external stimulation and pleasure. If you’re a fan of nightclubs, bars, and other socializing activities, you will lose interest and instead find yourself spending more time alone at home or in a quiet place.

The more you lose interest in identifying with your identity, the less you will care about being understood by people and recognized for your achievement. Additionally, you won’t be interested in defending your position or proving to people that you are right. This helps you rediscover your inner freedom and find joy within yourself.

3. Heightened Synchronicity and Intuition

When undergoing spiritual awakening, you will experience an increased sense of synchronicity and intuition. This means there is something bigger than you that takes over your life’s steering wheel. You will start operating from a position of satisfaction in your inner self, and your mind will be more at ease.

Instead of looking for all these exterior signs to do something, you will start depending on the inner compass of what you feel is right. This is confirmed by intensified synchronicity.

For example, you could be thinking about moving to a new state to be closer to your family or looking for a more fulfilling job. Just as you’re going about your day, you get a job offer in the state you wanted to move to. This is the type of synchronicity you will start experiencing with nature when going through a spiritual awakening.

Leading a spiritual lifestyle means handing yourself over to life completely to live joyfully and simply. Heightened intuition and increased synchronicity are vital signs that nature and life are taking care of you.

4. You’re an Emotional Roller Coaster

When getting a spiritual awakening, you may experience emotional lows and highs. These episodes are accompanied by a feeling that you don’t truly recognize who you are. Unfortunately, this is true; you won’t recognize yourself because your inner self will start phasing out your old identity.

As you get old, you will experience an emotional rollercoaster. Most people identify this time as the darkest night of the soul. This is because it’s one of the most challenging times during your journey to a spiritual lifestyle.

As you go through the emotional roller coaster, your personality will start thinning out, and your true nature will surface as your inner light shines through. Your vibrational frequency will increase, and you will feel all your old and unresolved emotions. As the feelings are pushed to the surface and released, you will be quite overwhelmed if you don’t know what’s going on.

Unfortunately, you have to go through this stage because the unresolved emotions can’t survive the new you. You could go through immense sadness for numerous hours building up within you. And all of a sudden, your inner light shines through, and you feel uninterrupted, pure joy like you have never before.

5. A Desire to Be Your Authentic Self

Have you noticed a recent sudden push to be your authentic self? This is a natural result of spiritual awakening. When leading a spiritual lifestyle, you will become more direct, honest, and transparent with yourself.

You will also be more aligned with your inner thoughts. This makes it more contrasting and painful to compromise your authenticity. It will also be more challenging to go against what your inner self knows to be true.

Unfortunately, in today’s superficial world, being more authentic and honest in your dealings is likely to land you in trouble with other people. But during the spiritual awakening journey, you’re likely to desire a simpler and more morally correct lifestyle.

The Indian spiritual tradition speaks about the Purushartha, the four different stages humans go through during evolution. According to tradition, most individuals are often ruled by the first two, which are pleasure-seeking and security.

The third stage of human evolution, according to the Purushartas, is the Dharma. It means living from a position of doing the right thing instead of focusing on your personal preferences. This means serving the whole instead of your individual self. The spiritual awakening journey comes with an amplified desire to serve your community and the people around you.

6. Your Dreams Become More Vivid

Spiritual awakening affects more than your waking life. You will start experiencing more vivid dreams. It will also be easier to remember your dreams and understand them.

This means that you will better understand what is happening while you’re sleeping and can interpret what you saw when you wake up in the morning. You will also have a divine understanding of how the dream connects with your real life, especially where you are in your spiritual awakening journey.

According to experts, the key to dream interpretation is not looking at it literally but interpreting the clear visuals and symbols in the dream. Because dreams are rooted deep in the subconscious mind, it’s easy to understand them when you’re spiritually awakened.

When you’re going through a spiritual awakening, you will understand the dream language and feel the emotions it evokes without the need for outside interpretation.

7. Experience a Shift in Your Relationships

Have you lost two or three friends recently? Have you noticed that you’re no longer close to people you used to talk to every day? This could be a tell-tale sign that you’re going through a spiritual awakening.

You may notice that you have outgrown some family members and friends. This is because your energy is vibrating on a different level than them and your lives no longer resonate. You may break away from some people because your lives were meant to take paths that lead to different directions.

Additionally, you will lose friends because you’re leaving behind your old interests and a mindset that connected your lives. You will no longer be fake-nice. You are now more protective of your energy and time and treat your inner self with more care and compassion.

You may also notice that you’re enforcing healthy boundaries in your relationships and voicing your concerns without fear. This alone will shake up your relationship, and you’ll find yourself losing some people.

8. You Feel More Compassionate

A major sign of spiritual awakening is an ever-growing sense of empathy and compassion for other people. You look at people, and you understand that they might be going through a lot in their daily lives. Your subconscious mind knows that being a human is tough, and everyone around you is stressed out.

You will also develop a sense of empathy for what they are experiencing. Becoming more compassionate helps you see beyond the hard shell people put out. You will also accept them as they are with all their imperfections without expecting too much.

The more your inner light shines, and you are in contact with your spiritual self, the more you are able to be empathetic and see the light that shines within other people. You will also distinguish when someone’s light has been dimmed without getting too emotionally involved.

You will allow people to be who they are meant to be and appreciate them without trying to change them. This will help you be more at peace with others and live in harmony with your surroundings.

9. You Experience a Oneness With All Life

At the core of everything, all life and energy are one. The energy and breath of life that moves through the body, helping you feel, speak and hear others, is the same spirit that makes the dogs, trees, and the rest of creation come to life.

When going through a spiritual awakening, most people have stated that they feel one with nature and all creation. This is because the experience helps you heal into wholeness.

During your journey, you may feel like you’re waking up from a dream, and everything in your life is becoming more apparent. You will also become more self-conscious and start feeling knowingness.

This revelation opens your eyes to the sacredness and blessings of all life. You will also be more appreciative of having the gift of life and feeling part of something bigger than yourself. Without spiritual awakening, you may not experience this new appreciation of life, and all that surrounds you.

You will notice that in the past, all you strived to achieve never satisfied you. No matter how successful you became, it was never enough. If your goal was getting one million dollars, once you achieved it, you set your eyes to the next million once you achieved it.

This is the cycle of life for people who haven’t experienced or embraced their spiritual awakening journey. However, identifying with your inner self will help you discover who you truly are and how your life is interconnected with all life on earth.

Origin stories and folklore that include deep-seated psychological archetypes have been present in about every culture up to the present day. What makes us so inclined towards spirituality, to space and the solar system, to finding God?

It comes from a deep knowing that we are spiritual beings living out a human existence. Deja vu, synchronicities and gut feelings are only some of the ways our intuition tells us we’re on the path of spiritual development and connecting with the divine.

Society is becoming more receptive to these invisible influences that govern our material world. Quantum physics and quantum entanglement prove the Buddhist philosophy that everything is connected.

Spiritual development is a natural byproduct of these advancements in our belief systems and sciences. A lot of us, however, grew up indoctrinated into certain religions that didn’t teach about spirituality. You may know in your heart that you’re spiritually gifted, but need help bringing these latent gifts to the surface.

In order to develop your spirituality further, it requires discipline and practice. Continue reading to find out how to draw out your connection with the spiritual world from the depths of your mind.

What is Spiritual Development?

Spiritual development looks like many things to different people. It’s important not to let your ego get in the way of what it means to be spiritually developed. Some want to experience enlightenment, gain certain psychic gifts or manifest their dream world. Through spiritual development, these things are possible, but you shouldn’t set yourself up to expect anything.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to achieve these things. But, spiritual development is about becoming closer with your connection to source, the creator, or infinite intelligence. There are many names for the same thing, so these labels will be used somewhat interchangeably.

Spiritual development takes us out of our mind and body and into our soul or spirit. Through this path, you hold the realization that you can self-actualize and hold the connection to infinite creation within you.

The importance of spiritual development is seen in how it affects your relationship with yourself and others. How you approach, certain situations may change as you go through metaphorical deaths to give birth to a new self. Your thought patterns become more positive, your consciousness is more self-aware, and your emotional reactions are more controlled.

You may start to go through an awakening, where the world becomes disillusioned. This involves seeing things for what they are. Awakening for many people can be painful, as it involves letting go of reality as you thought you knew it and acceptance of a deeper, more spiritual reality.

It’s a constant journey of self-growth, reflection, authenticity, and discovery.

As you grow, you get closer to your higher self. Think of the self, or higher self, as the most genuine version of you that exists.

You’re always connected to your soul, your guides, and your ancestors. It’s a matter of learning how to communicate with these aspects of reality.

Looking Inwards

Many spiritual practices involve looking inwards to uncover your spirituality. Being able to connect with a higher power means disconnecting from distractions. Here are some ways to actively avoid distractions and connect with source:

  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Time in nature
  • Breath-work
  • Exercise
  • Prayer
  • Chanting
  • Mantras
  • Journaling
  • Practicing Gratitude
  • Fasting
  • Ritual

All of these practices help calm the mind. Once the mind is calm, you are able to be more receptive to intuitions and ideas.
